Experience Behind GRC Fundament
I’m Muhammad Haroon. I have spent more than twenty years working across IT operations, service management and enterprise technology.
My experience spans service portfolios, incident management, service levels, ServiceNow and enterprise platforms. More recently, my focus has included the introduction of Generative AI within large organisations.
The perspective behind GRC Fundament is deliberately operational. AI governance cannot be separated from the reality of running technology in production. AI applications and agents need clear ownership, monitoring, incident handling and controlled change, just like other critical services.
At the same time, AI behaves differently from traditional software. Outputs can vary, models evolve and dependencies extend across data, platforms and external providers. The existing playbook therefore needs to be adapted rather than simply copied.
I hold an Executive MBA from Kellogg WHU and an MSc in Software Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen. My professional qualifications include ITIL, PMP and PRINCE2.
